Depending where you live in the UK, Portsmouth is often the port of choice when sailing to France, but when you arrive you’re still faced with a three-hour journey to our holiday home.

The recommended route is the Plymouth-Roscoff crossing, which means that when you arrive in France you only ab hour away from the holiday park.

Roscoff International Port is at the western end of the English Channel on the Breton coast, which is also a great entry point to France if you are travelling beyond Brittany, to the Loire and Aquitaine.

Brittany Ferries offers a choice of cruise ferry crossings travelling between Roscoff and the ports of Cork in Eire and Plymouth in Devon.
